About

Dr. Warren Yu, a native Washingtonian, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of adult spinal disorders including cervical and lumbar disc disease, cervical and lumbar stenosis, and degenerative spine disorders.

Dr. Yu’s special interests include scoliosis and other spinal deformities, as well as complex primary and revision spinal surgeries.  His practice also includes non-fusion options (total disk replacements, Coflex) as well as minimally invasive options.

Dr. Yu received his medical degree at Northwestern University.  He completed his residency at UCLA and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Case Western Reserve University.  He was previously the Director of Spine Surgery at George Washington University Hospital for the last 17 years.  He currently performs surgery at University of Maryland Charles County Regional Medical Center, Adventist Healthcare White Oak Medical Center, and The George Washington University Hospital.
