Dr. Brittney Wright is a Physical Therapist who has been with Precision Physical Therapy’s La Plata, MD location since it opened in June 2024. She has nearly ten years of experience treating orthopedic conditions and neurologic conditions and makes a point to individualize each patient’s care to their specific needs. In 2021, she began specializing in Pelvic Health Therapy, treating people of all genders with pelvic and abdominal dysfunction and pain across the adult lifespan, in addition to the peri- and post-natal population.

Brittney is experienced in skilled techniques such as Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling, Myofascial Decompression (Cupping Therapy), the Graston Technique, and Kinesiotape. She enjoys integrating her love of Pilates into her patients’ treatment plans by having them perform rehabilitation-based and traditional Mat Pilates exercises. Brittney is currently pursuing her Pilates as well as her Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certifications.

Brittney received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Howard University. She is from and still resides in Prince George’s County, MD. In her spare time, Brittney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, attending concerts, reading, and expanding her knowledge in pelvic health.
