About Jeffrey Idol, DPM
Dr. Idol was born in Belleville, IL, and moved to Maryland in 1968. He grew up in Calvert County and, after graduating from Northern High School, he went on to college and graduated from University of Maryland with a BS in Biochemistry, in 1983. He attended the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1987. He completed his Surgical Residency at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV in 1988. Dr. Idol joined Family Foot Care of Southern Maryland in 1988. He has 5 offices in southern Maryland, and he is also on Active staff at Calvert Health Medical Center and Active Staff at Calvert Ambulatory Foot Surgery Center. He is a consultant and speaks to groups and organizations in Southern Maryland.
