Jason Litt, MD, is a double board-certified physician in anesthesiology and pain medicine who specializes in interventional pain management. As a pain management specialist, he evaluates, diagnoses, and provides comprehensive care for a broad range of pain conditions.
Dr. Litt uses the most advanced technologies available including radiofrequency ablation, regenerative medicine, neuromodulation with spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and kyphoplasty for minimally invasive treatments of acute and chronic back, neck, joint, and other pain issues. He also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS formerly RSD).
Dr. Litt has trained at some of the nation’s top programs in his field. He graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology. A New Jersey native, he returned to the state to obtain his medical degree at Rutgers Medical School. During medical school, he was inducted into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society, to which he was nominated by his peers for his exceptional compassion towards his patients. Dr. Litt went on to complete his internship and Anesthesiology residency training at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He then completed his advanced Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine at University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Dr. Litt lives in Maryland with his wife, two daughters, and dog. He enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and kayaking in his spare time.
